1. Data controller
The data controller is Efraín Gómez Tapia, with address at Av. México 5000, Zapopan, Jalisco, Mexico.
2. Data collected
- Identification and profile data: display name, username, email address and avatar.
- In-app activity data: ratings, reviews, lists, messages and games.
- Usage preferences: selected streaming platforms, favorite genres and films.
- Technical and usage data: the type of device you use Blooper from (iOS app or web browser), and a record of the actions you take within the platform — for example completing a game, rating a film or modifying a list — with their date and time. This record does not include the content of your messages or reviews.
- Approximate location: the country and city you connect from, derived from your IP address at the time of the request. We do not store your IP address. Location is kept at country and city level only, never with greater precision.
3. Purposes
Primary purposes: operating your account, providing the social and game features, and moderating community content. Secondary purposes: understanding how Blooper is used in order to improve the product. This includes knowing which type of device each feature is used from, which countries and cities we are visited from, and which actions are most frequent. This data is analyzed in aggregate. You may object to processing for secondary purposes by writing to the contact address in this notice.
4. Transfers and processors
To provide the service, data is processed by the following processors:
- TMDB — movie and series catalog
- Supabase — database, authentication and identity
- Vercel — application hosting
- Resend — transactional email delivery
5. Your rights
Users may exercise their rights of access, rectification, cancellation and objection by writing to the contact below; requests are handled within the timeframes required by law.
6. Withdrawing consent
Users may withdraw consent for the processing of their data at any time, through the contact below or by deleting their account.
7. Retention and deletion
Your data is kept while your account is active. You may delete your account and all of your data from the app at any time; deletion is total. The technical and usage records described in this notice are kept for 90 days and then deleted. For your list activity we also keep a monthly summary — how many lists you created and how many titles you added or removed — associated with your account, which is also deleted if you delete your account.
8. Security
Reasonable technical and organizational measures are applied to protect personal data.
9. Minors
Blooper requires a minimum age of 13 and is not directed to children under that age.
10. Changes to this Notice
Changes to this Notice are communicated within the app.
